Danish government communicators spent a fruitful hour at Redhouse Lane's London office, learning how the agency views the UK Government's use of social media.
The visit was part of a tightly scheduled two-day tour of various British government departments, designed to give the Danes an insight into making the most of new technology to communicate with citizens.
As a trusted supplier to the UK's public sector, Redhouse Lane introduced the dozen Danish communication professionals to examples of social media usage that target the UK government, as well showing them how the government uses social media technologies to reach its different audiences.
Chris Rowe, Business Development Manager, says the session went down well leaving the Danes with much food for thought.
"The key driver of quality use of social media is content. There's no point in using Twitter unless you've got something valid to say, regularly. It's about knowing your audience and then providing and curating content that constantly engages and re-engages them. Content is king."
