Redhouse Lane has again made its mark at this year's Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) Awards, with three Awards of Excellence.
Assets magazine for the Institute of Asset Management received a nod in the Publication for Members category.
Assets serves as a resource for asset managers who want to learn more about successful projects and innovative techniques in their field across the world, with features and case studies contributed by the Institute's members. As well as spreading awareness and further understanding of the discipline, Assets carries news on the latest events, product launches, industry news and developments within the industry.
In terms of making members feel valued, Assets is a resounding success, with almost 90 per cent of respondents to the February 2010 reader survey saying they valued the magazine as a membership benefit.
This is supported by IoIC judges who described Assets as "A well edited and designed publication that is clearly written for its readers".
Infoworks for Laing O'Rourke has been awarded two awards of excellence for Internal Magazine (up to 4 issues a year) and Redesigned Publication.
Infoworks' content strategy is to show the range of Laing O'Rourke's people, projects and capabilities, and inform and educate about wider industry topics. This broader content highlights the company's outlook and prevents the magazine from becoming too corporate or self-promoting. Using expert journalists and contributions from industry leaders create a credible, impartial tone of voice.
Judges comments included: "Infoworks has moved to a new level with this imaginative redesign, perfectly targeted at its audience. It looks and feels like a newsstand magazine. All together a top-class product."
The awards will be presented at the Hilton Park Lane on Friday June 17.
